Roy Goode Scholarship Fund

The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) is seeking funds to create the Roy Goode Scholarship Fund which will enable the most talented postgraduate research students from across Europe and beyond to attend CCLS postgraduate courses. Every year we have a considerable number of excellent candidates who are unable to take up their places due to the lack of funding.

Scholarships bring many benefits

CCLS provided a great opportunity to broaden my knowledge of international banking and finance law. It will help me develop my law firm practice and attract foreign clients. Demand far outweighs supply as for each scholarship we offer we receive more than 15 applications. Being able to offer further scholarships would ensure that those who deserve a place on merit are not restricted by the ever escalating costs of fees.

Named scholarships

Bespoke scholarships can be tailor-made to suit the interests of the donor, for example, if a particular CCLS specialty is required to suit an individual or law firm’s areas of practice, or a particular nationality of student desired, we will be happy to accommodate these wishes.

Scholarships will only be offered once the student has been offered a place and has passed our stringent standards.
