Professor Robin Callender Smith, Visiting Professor of Media Law at QMUL's Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), will deliver a Gresham College Lecture at the Museum of London on Wednesday 27 January 2016. The lecture, titled Celebrities, the Media and the Personal Data Privacy Wars, considers The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and how it deals with the privacy of personal data and not merely its security. The lecture starts at 6pm and no prior booking is required.
