Professor Loukas Mistelis in the Financial Times 'Arbitration cases heard in London surpass financial crisis peak'

Published:

The number of complex commercial disputes heard by London court has increased last year, surpassing the volume at the peak of the financial crisis in 2009. Professor Loukas Mistelis suggests that the number of cases in the capital was rising because it was seen as an international centre and as neutral and independent.

Professor Mistelis is Director of the School of International Arbitration and Clive M Schmitthoff Professor of Transnational Commercial Law and Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London.
