Professor Rosa Lastra co-organising a seminar on the Future of Financial Regulation at the Bank of England on 17 May

Published:

Professor Rosa Lastra and David Bholat of the Bank of England have organised a Legal Seminar at the Bank of England on 17 May 2013, bringing together distinguished experts and scholars and staff of the Bank of England and Prudential Regulatory Authority to discuss the future of financial regulation in the UK, EU and internationally.

Dr Andromachi Georgosouli, Lecturer in International Commercial Law at Queen Mary, is to participate in the Legal Seminar. She will comment inter alia on the mandate of the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and of the likelihood of greater legal risk exposure for the new regulators as they embark on a judgement-led approach to regulation.

This CCLS/QMUL seminar at the Bank of England - a follow up to the similar meeting held at CCLS in 2012 - is not open to the public.
