Professor Lastra gives evidence to the House of Lords and to the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards on Banking Reform in the EU and UK

Professor Rosa Lastra gave written and oral evidence to the House of Lords European Union Committee, Subcommittee A with regard to the Committee's inquiry on the EU banking sector and the proposals to establish a banking union. The report of the House of Lords European Union Committee 'European Banking Union: Key issues and challenges'. - where Professor Lastra's evidence is cited several times - was published in December 2012. The session of oral evidence is available on parliamentlivetv.

Professor Lastra was also asked to give written and oral evidence to the joint Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards in November 2012. The Commission was appointed by both Houses of Parliament to consider and report on professional standards and culture of the UK banking sector, and their implications for regulation and for Government policy and to make recommendations for legislative and other action. Professor Lastra's evidence is cited in the report of the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards, and Professor Lastra's written evidence to the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards was published at publications.parliament.uk.
