Dr Maxi Scherer is appointed to the executive board of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution's under-40 group

The International Centre for Dispute Resolution's (ICDR) under-40 group has announced new members for its executive and global advisory boards.

Dr Maxi Scherer, Senior Lecturer and Director of the LLM in Paris at Queen Mary University of London and special counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr will join the executive board with Samaa Haridi, partner at Weil Gotshal & Manges in New York; Kristoffer Löf, partner at Mannheimer Swartling in Stockholm; and Baiju Vasani, partner at Jones Day in London.

The four new executive board members will sit for a three-year term. They were selected by the ICDR and the departing executive board after applying for the positions.

The ICDR Y&I is a networking and educational group for young dispute resolution practitioners. Sponsored by the ICDR, it currently has a membership of over 2,400 from 96 countries. In 2013, the ICDR Y&I sponsored 18 events in 12 countries.
