Dr Gaetano Dimita to speak on Interactive Entertainment Law at Goldsmiths

Dr Gaetano Dimita, Lecturer in International Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary is to speak on Interactive Entertainment Law at Goldsmiths University of London on 26 November as part of the MSc CGE: Games Industry Seminar Series 2013-14.

His talk will cover the broad intellectual property implications in video games and virtual worlds in the US and the EU, focusing on Copyright, Trade Mark, Patent, Trade Dressing and Design, Right of Publicity, Trade Secrets and technological protection measures. He will also give an overview of the legal and regulatory framework in which the industry operates and how video games as perceived by lawyers and courts.
