Professor Rosa Lastra was invited by the Oxford Blatvanik School of Government to participate in roundtable with Bank of England Deputy Governor Paul Tucker on cross-border resolution and bank structural reform on 2nd May 2012, and to contribute a memo. Professor Lastra was also invited by the European Commission (DGMarkt) to take part in a workshop of experts in banking and insolvency law in Brussels on 19 April 2012 to discuss the Commission's proposals on Bank Recovery and Resolution, in particular regarding bail-in.
